In today’s high schools, professional activities is a very important activity, mainly determining the existence and development of the schools. The activities of professional groups play a very important role in planning and fostering expertise, skills, and pedagogical capacity for officials and teachers. The Social Sciences professional group is an integral part of the organization and management apparatus of the secondary schools. In this article, the author presents and analyzes data on the current status of management of Social Science professional group activities at secondary schools in Phu Luong district, Thai Nguyen province in order to contribute to proposing solutions. Methods to improve the effectiveness of managing professional group activities in general and managing social science specialized group activities in particular. Thereby, gradually improving the quality of teaching and learning in current secondary schools.
