Nghiên cứu nhằm xác định tỉ lệ có biểu hiện rối loạn lo âu và một số yếu tố liên quan ở sinh viên năm đầu và năm cuối Đại học Y Hà Nội vào năm học 2018 – 2019. Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 1723 sinh viên và sử dụng bộ câu hỏi Rối loạn lo âu lan tỏa (Generalised Anxiety Disorder – 7 items, GAD-7) để phỏng vấn sinh viên về tình trạng rối loạn lo âu. Kết quả cho thấy tỉ lệ rối loạn lo âu là 9,8% (95% C.I.: 8,4 – 11,4%) và một số yếu tố liên quan gồm: có gánh nặng tài chính (PR = 1,42, 95% C.I.: 1,22 – 2,25), phải thi lại/học lại (PR = 1,58; 95% C.I.: 1,19 – 2,09), tập thể dục thể thao (PR = 0,69; 95% C.I.: 0,55 – 0,88), có hút thuốc (PR = 2,35, 95% C.I.: 1,74 – 3,18), có uống rượu bia (PR = 1,49; 95% C.I.: 1,16 – 1,93). Kết quả nghiên cứu giúp định hướng cụ thể những nhóm sinh viên cần được ưu tiên hơn trong các can thiệp nhằm giảm tỉ lệ lo âu trong các sinh viên khối ngành khoa học sức khoẻ ở Đại học Y Hà Nội và các trường y khác ở Việt Nam.
