Reservoir plays an important role in exploitation of water resources and in mitigation of unexpected effects caused by water disasters. Dam is the most important structure in a reservoir. But there are many unsafe vulnerabilities in more than 6,600 dams in Vietnam: There are many reasons and solutions for this, in which, dam safety management work is one solution. This article mentions on how to select a suitable model for dam safety management work.
