Introduction: The authors studied the lipid level of 95 patients with hypertension (HTN) who wero admitted to the Internal Medicine Department of Ngu Hanh Son hospital from October, 2013 to September, 2014. Aims: To assess the clinical characteristics, laboratory findings and their correlations in order to design a preventive strategy for patients with dyslipidemia and HTN. Results: There were 81.1 percent patients with prior history of HTN and 100 percent hypertensive patients without prior history of dyslipidemia. All had health insurance.
