Survey results of forest genetic resources siiteck mushrooms in Bac Kan showed that siiteck mushroom growth, development and distributed in the forests with dominanted species such as Sau Sau, Oak, Chestnut trees... Farmers often exploit the siiteck mushrooms from November to March next year with output of about 15.3 kg/household/year and sold in the local market with prices ranging from 120-180/kg fresh siiteck mushrooms. Some households can grow mushrooms on the Sau sauwoodswith scale from 13-18 m3/H.H/year. Yield of 80-180 kg of fresh mushrooms/year/household. Research results of siiteck mushrooms on Sau sau woody in Bac Kan province show that: The time to inoculated immediately after cutting trees, mushrooms appear earlier than 17 - 25 days comparing with after felling 5 - 10 days. Mushroom stem length ranged from 4.7 to 5.0 cm. Diameter of mushroom peduncle from 0.42 to 0.50 cm. Diameter of mushroom cap ranging from 2.4 to 2.7 cm. Yield of fresh mushrooms harvested at 3 times ranged from 29,5 to 37.0 kg/treatment. Profits ranged from 866.000 - 1.241.000 VND/m3 of Sau Sau wood.
