Group of companies is an economic associated form created by nature when investors want to expand their business by establishing groups of companies in which companies are legally independent but related in terms of ownership. Intra-group transactions are not properly regulated, the inter-ownership among those companies may have adversary impacts on other third parties such as minority shareholders in those companies, their lenders, their trading partners or even the State. This article studies the specialities of the intra-group transactions and relevant provisions of the current Law on Enterprises, and provides some recomendations to improve those provisions.
