Xác định tỷ lệ trầm cảm và các yếu tố liên quan ở bệnh nhân NMCT cấp cao tuổi. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Thiết kế cắt ngang mô tả có phân tích từ tháng 12/2019 – 4/2020 trên 110 bệnh nhân NMCT cấp ≥60 tuổi nhập viện bệnh viện Thống Nhất. Dùng thang đo trầm cảm thang trầm cảm lão khoa 15 câu hỏi (GDS – 15). Kết quả: Tỉ lệ trầm cảm nội viện ở bệnh nhân NMCT cấp cao tuổi là 26,4%. Có mối liên quan giữa trầm cảm và tiền căn suy tim (p=0,042), suy yếu xã hội (p=0,004), rối loạn đi tiểu (p=0,018) và giảm hoạt động chức năng cơ bản hàng ngày (p=0,022). Kết luận: Tỉ lệ trầm cảm nội viện ở bệnh nhân NMCT cấp cao tuổi là 26,4%. Cần đánh giá sớm trầm cảm ngay trong thời gian nằm viện trên bệnh nhân NMCT cấp cao tuổi có các yếu tố như: tiền căn suy tim, rối loạn đi tiểu, suy yếu xã hội và giảm hoạt động chức năng cơ bản hàng ngày.

Depression is a risk factor for a poor prognosis in patients with acute myocardial infarction (MI). The assessment of depression in the elderly people with acute myocardial infarction should be carried out as soon as possible during hospitalization. Objectives: To determine the prevalence of depression and their associated factors in elderly patients with MI. Methods: Descriptive and cross – sectional studies in 110 elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction to hospitalization f-rom December 2019 to April 2020 at Thong Nhat Hospital. Depression scale of the 15 – item geriatric depression scale (GDS – 15). Results: The prevalence of depression during hopitalization in elderly patinent with acute IM was 26.4%, women are more likely than men. Depression was related to history of heart failure (p=0.042), social frailty (p=0.004), urinary incontinence (p=0.018), limited basic activities of daily living (p=0.022). Conclusion: The prevalence of depression during hopitalization in elderly patinent with acute MI was 26.4%. It is necessary to assess early depression in elderly patients with MI during hospitalization with history of heart failure, social frailty, urinary incontinence, limited basic activities of daily living.
