Binh Phuoc is known as a province rich of natural resources and having high biodiversity, Nowadays, biodiversity conservation in Binh Phuoc is being strictly carried out in collaboration among government agents. However, except Bu Gia Map National Park, other forest regions are all lack of biodiversity information, including diversity of butterflies. Consequently, it is necessary to estimate the biodiversity of this province to set a scientific database for the purpose of planning for economical and social development and conservation. The main aim focuses on minimizing impact of human activities and climate change on biodiversity. This research was carried out as a part of the project Survey of Biodiversity and Planning for Biodiversity Conservation in Binh Phuoc province (2012-2020), was headed by Department of Environmental Protection of Binh Phuoc, and was funded by Environmental Protection Agency in Binh Phuoc province.
