Tăng cường nguồn lực tài chính đã đang và luôn là một trong những vấn đề được chú trọng hàng đầu trong tiến trình phát triển giáo dục đại học, đặc biệt là đối với nhóm đại học công lập vốn đang đối mặt với nhiều khó khăn khi nguồn lực tài chính chủ chốt - ngân sách công - suy giảm từng ngày. Trong nghiên cứu này, nhóm tác giả khảo sát các cơ chế tăng cường nguồn lực tài chính cho các cơ sở giáo dục đại học công lập trên thế giới. Từ đó, một số hàm ý được rút ra cho các cơ sở giáo đục đại học công lập Việt Nam.
