Two-mode photon-added displaced squeezed states were previously introduced and their various interesting nonclassical as well as nonlocal properties were studied in great detail. In this paper, the authors present experimental schemes for generating those states using optical devices such as nondegenerate parametric downconverters, displacers, beam-splitters and photo-detectors. The purpose is to see how close to the desired state the generated state can be and how high the success probability corresponding to a given fidelity is.
