The study conducted to evaluate and compare the effect of Permanet 2.0 and Permanet 3.0 to control insecticide resistant wild-Anopheles epiroticus population in Southern Vietnam, by using experimental huts..Despite the insecticide resistance of the A. epiroticus Population, both Permanet 2.0 and Permanet 3.0 had still a strong control effect on A. epiroticus because of deterrence, induced exophily, blood feeding inhibition and mortality of mosquitoes as shown by different hanged nets. The deterrence effect are the same between Permanet 2.0 and Permanet 3.0, both unwashed nets and 20 times washed nets, the Induced exophily could not be measured. Blood feeding inhibition and mortality of mosquitoes are not different between Permanet 2.0 and Permanet 3.0.
