Bão vệ người tiêu dùng tài chỉnh nhằm đảm báo sự phát triển bền vừng của hệ thống tài chinh quốc gia. Bài viết làm rõ kinh nghiệm và thông lệ quốc tế về khung khổ pháp lý, việc tô chức thực thi, giám sát bảo vệ người tiêu dùng tài chính tại một so quốc gia trên thế giới, từ đó, đề xuất một so khuyến nghị cho Việt Nam trong hoạt động báo vệ người tiêu dùng tài chính. Theo đó, bài viết gồm ba nội dung chính: i) Khái niệm và nguyên tắc trong hoạt động bảo vệ người tiêu dùng tài chỉnh; ii) Thông lệ quốc tể và khung khổ pháp lý quy định việc bảo vệ người tiêu dùng tài chính; Hi) Đe xuất khuyến nghị cho Việt Nam.

Financial consumer protection is not only about ensuring the legitimate interests off inancial consumers in particular, but also about ensuring the long-term sustainable development of the nation’s financial system in general. In this article, the author synthesizes and clarifies international experiences and practices on the legal framework for financial consumer protection and on the implementation, enforcement and supervision of financial consumer protection policies in other countries in the world, thereby proposing some recommendations on financial consumer protection for Vietnam. Accordingly, this article includes three main contents: i) Concepts and principles of financial consumer protection; ii) International practices and legal framework for financial consumer protection; Hi) Recommendations for
Vietnam.
