This article focuses on examining and suggesting solutions to improve the quality of teaching at private upper-secondary schools in Ho Chi Minh City. First, it is important to evaluate the current situation of teaching at these educational institutions in terms of management and teaching staff; facilities, teaching aids and intake quality ... Basing on these aspects, this article puts forward several solutions to Improve the management of teaching activities, including: improving the efficiency of education laws and the regulation of private upper-secondary schools, reinforcing the decentralization in terms of leadership and management at these schools, focusing on building and developing the teaching staff; implementing contents involving the management of teaching activities, building relationships between schools, families and society, promoting the purchase, usage and maintenance of teaching facilities and teaching aids, improving the management competence of the school principal.
