Thai Nguyen iron casting joint-stock company mainly produces casting products such as: trash screens, drain cover, machine parts according to the market demand. Since the company accessed and aware of the benefits of cleaner production (CP), the company has actively participated in the program, deployed and implemented measures of management and process control, specially consider to the large investment solution. Installation a pair of melt induction furnace with capacity 1.5 ton to replace old furnace. This is considered is expected to help company reduce the energy consumption of 644 kWh/ton of product, to minimize environmental pollution as the result of better control material inputs (reducing impurities 8kg/ton of product), down 24.353kg dust/year and 6,740.64 kg of CO2 emissions, while saving more than 622 million/year.
