Objective: In order to give effective support solution for caregivers of patients with schizophrenia and contribute to the success of the health care program for community mental, the authors implement the project with two objectives: (1) Evaluate the quality of life of caregivers of patients with schizophrenia in the family in the city of Quy Nhon. (2) To a number of factors related to the quality of life of caregivers of patients with schizophrenia in the family at the study site. Research methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in the city of Quy Nhon in 2014. Interview entire 355 primary caregivers of schizophrenic patients from study sites to collect information on demographic, economic and social. Using linear repression analysis to identify factors related to the quality of life of carriers. Results: Carriers have the quality of life achieved is 26.8 percent, Factors related to the quality of life of the subjects studied were age (p = 0.037), high education level (p = 0.006). Household income poverty (p = 0.015) and social support is perceived as the most influential factors (p 0.001). Conclusion: Percentage of study subjects have not yet reached the quality remains high. There am four factors that affect the quality of life is: age, education, household income and social support was perceived.
