In the countries having developed mining industry, the supporting technology by using anchors with cable bolts at the drifts with weak rock such as gateways has provided high efficiency. Being considered as an active support, this supporting technology has developed basing on the maximum utilization of the load-carrying ability of the reinforced rock masses. In this paper, the authors represent the principles for support work by using anchors with cable bolts in the underground mines and constructions.
