Objectives: evaluate the results of primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) with dual mobility cups in Viet Duc University Hospital. Subjects and Methods: THA with dual mobility cups were perfomed in 40 patients. Results: The functional results, according to the rating scale of Merle d'Aubigne, were rated as excellent in 77,5 percent, very good in 15 percent and good in 7,5 percent of the patients. The dislocation rate (the small and large articulation) was 0 percent. Conclusion: dual mobility cups can be a choice in patients who need THA in preventing dislocation and improving ROM of hip.
