In this work, Independent Component Analysis (FastICA algorithm) is employed to separate functional magnetic resonanse image (fMRI) data into spatially independent non-Gaussian components. Based on the separation, activation regions related to stimulatiqns on the left and right brain are indicated. For the demonstration, the data collected from Institutional Review Board of Johns Hopkins University data base were used. The results of the analysis are the images of the patient's brain which the activation regions of the visual function posed on the left and right half of the brain have been shown.
