With a coastline of 120km, the largest lagoon system in Southeast Asia, many famous beaches such as Thuan An, Canh Duong, Vinh Hien, Dien Loc... and especially, on June 2009 Lang Co bay recognized as the world's beautiful bay by "Most beautiful bays in the world club", tourism of sea-lagoon are potential in Thua Thien - Hue. Besides, Thua Thien - Hue also has Son Tra island ,and along the coast many places with beautiful scenery and historical culture that can afford to develop tourism in a comprehensive. This article shows the assessment results of the tourism potentials, proposed solutions and orientation for suatainable tourism development in sea - island - lagoon areas of Thua Thien Hue province.
