Objective: To describe the specific working conditions affecting health of medical staffs (MSs) in military medical facilities; To propose measures to reducing the harmful effects of these risk factors, and remunerations, policies for HSs. Subjects and methods: a cross-sectional study, analysis, and retrospective study. MSs and managers from Central level to Division. Working conditions in health facilities. Results: The labour environment of MSs had not met hygiene standards for light (3.8 to 12.5 percent). The measurement of ionizing radiation sources used in some radiation treatment room met hygiene standards (85-100 percent), but also some positions wasn't guaranteed. Toxic gases: carbon dioxide, formol, xylene, ethanol, toluene,... at some hospitals exceeding the permitted standards 1.2 to 5.5 percent. The structure of MSs' disease: hypertension 2.0 percent, 1.5 percent goiter; 3.8 percent respiratory diseases, 0.4 percent diabetes, 0.1 percent tuberculosis; 2.2 percent kidney stones; heart disease 1.9 percent, 0.1 percent cancers, 13 percent duodenal ulcer, 0.2 percent chronic hepatitis, 0.1 percent uterine fibroids, 0.1 percent hemorrhoids; 6.2 percent arthritis. Conclusions: The working environment of MSs: some places didn't meet hygiene standards, in addition to other factors: the position of working, job characteristics also affect MSs' health. Need to build the professional allowances and toxic for MSs, and improving working conditions of MSs.
