Introduction: Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is uncommon, with an overal incident of 1/100,000 annually. The clinical presentation of CVT is highly variable and nonspecific. The authors develop studies to evaluate clinical features and risk factors regarding thrombophilia of CVT. Methods: retrospective study, Patients were Intracranical venous thrombosis in Cho Ray Hospital from Jannuary, 2010 to December, 2011. Results: 34 patients confirmed with cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT), there were 13 males and 21 females with a mean age of 42.2 years. The most clinical presentation was headache 91.2 percent. The onset was acute, subacute with (94 percent), non-chronic. The most common venous sinuses were superior sagittal sinus occupied 76.5 percent. On the other hand, thrombotic risk factors were found in 26 patients (76.5 percent), decrease S Protein are 50 percent and pregnant: 26.4 percent. However, the percentage of unknown risk factors thrombophilia was 10 percent. Conclusion: Cerebral venous thrombosis is an uncommon, the onset is acute, headache is the most frequent symptom.The most common verious sinuses are superior sagittal sinus. On the other hand 76.5 percent of all cases have risk factors thrombophilia.
