Rối loạn tiêu hóa chức năng thường gặp trong cộng đồng kể cả những trẻ phát triển hoàn toàn khỏe mạnh. Nghiên cứu được tiến hành tại phòng tiêm chủng Bệnh viện Nhi Trung ương và Trường Mầm non Quỳnh Lôi, quận Hai Bà Trưng, Hà Nội trên 1511 trẻ từ 0 tháng đến 4 tuổi khỏe mạnh. Chẩn đoán rối loạn tiêu hoá chức năng theo tiêu chuẩn Rome IV. Tỉ lệ mắc rối loạn tiêu hóa chức năng là 10,0%. Trào ngược trẻ nhũ nhi phổ biến nhất ở nhóm trẻ dưới 1 tuổi, chiếm 9,9%. Tỉ lệ mắc chứng đau khi đại tiện và đau bụng co thắt lần lượt là 0,8% và 2,5%. Tỉ lệ mắc táo bón chức năng là 3,1%, thường gặp trong nhóm 24 – 48 tháng tuổi. Tỉ lệ mắc rối loạn tiêu hóa chức năng cũng như các triệu chứng cải thiện tự nhiên theo thời gian. Kết luận Rối loạn tiêu hóa chức năng là vấn đề thường gặp ở trẻ từ 0 tháng đến 4 tuổi khỏe mạnh. Cần áp dụng tiêu chuẩn Rome IV để sàng lọc các rối loạn tiêu hóa chức năng ở trẻ em nhằm hạn chế các điều trị quá mức cho trẻ.

Functional gastrointestinal disorders are common in healthy children. The study was conducted at the Vaccination center, Vietnam National Children's Hospital and Quynh Loi Kindergarten, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City on 1511 healthy chidren aged from 0 month to 4 years according to the Rome IV criteria. The prevalance of functional gastrointestinal disorders is 10.0%. The prevalence of infant regurgitation was 9.9%, most common in children under 1 year of age. The prevalance of dyschezia and infant colic was 0,8% and 2.5%, respectively. The prevalence of functional constipation was 3,1% and is common in the age group of 24 - 48 months of age. The incidence of functional gastrointestinal disorders as well as the symptoms improves naturally over time. Conclusion Functional gastrointestinal disorders in children aged 0 month to 4 years is quite common even in healthy children. The Rome IV criteria should be applied to screen for functional gastrointestinal disorders in children to limit excessive treatment
