Using the questionnaire on 443 young people who were living, studying and working in Hanoi, the study investigated their levels of pro-environmental behaviors and subjective well-being. It was found that pro-environmental behavior had a positive effect on subjective well-being. In addition, gender and living area were the moderators in this relationship. Our research results have suggested ways to enhance the subjective well - being of young people by encouraging them to perform more pro-environmental behavior.
