The studied results show that the algal blooms occurred from July to September, 2007 and from June to August, 2008. Concentrations of DO decreased strongly between 3 and 5mg O2/1 during and after the blooms while concentrations of DO were relatively high (6mg/l) in all stations before the bloom period (May - June, 2007 and April - May, 2008). Chi-a values were low before the bloom period (1ug/I). However, during the algal blooms (from July to September, 2007 and from June to September, 2008), concentrations of Chi-a fluctuated in space and time and got at peak in annual August. Specially, Chi-a values increased highly in the bottom layers from -1.21 to 7,93 ug/l 'while these values were from 0,21 to 0, 76 ug/l in the surface layers in Ham Tan. After the algal blooms, Chi-a values decreased signficantly in the researched area. Concentrations of TSS were relatively low before the blooms from 3 to 4 mg/I. However, TSS values increased gradually during the blooms and got at peak after the blooms with 13,26 +/- 6,25 mg/l. especially at the near-shore stations. In general. distribution of the DO, Chi-a and TSS parameters tended towards values of before the bloom period.
