Trải qua quá trình phát triển lâu dài, người Tày ở miền đông Lạng Sơn đã tạo dựng cho mình một nền văn hóa phong phú cả về vật chất lẫn tinh thần. Nhưng hiện nay, nhiều giá trị văn hóa đang có sự biến đổi sâu sắc trong bối cảnh công nghiệp hóa, hiện đại hóa, hội nhập quốc tế. Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm làm rõ một số vấn đề về biến đổi văn hóa vật thể của người Tày ở miền đông Lạng Sơn, đồng thời chỉ rõ nguyên nhân dẫn tới sự biến đổi đó. Với việc sử dụng phương pháp lịch sử, phương pháp logic kết hợp với phương pháp điền dã dân tộc học, kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng, sự biến đổi của văn hóa người Tày ở miền đông Lạng Sơn vừa có những giá trị, vừa có những phản giá trị, hủ tục lạc hậu tác động hai chiều đến bảo tồn, phát triển văn hóa. Trên cơ sở đó, nghiên cứu cũng chỉ rõ những nguyên nhân chủ quan và nguyên nhân khách quan dẫn đến sự biến đổi này. Kết quả của nghiên cứu góp phần khẳng định rằng, đồng bộ văn hóa của người Tày là nội dung quan trọng trực tiếp của bảo tồn, phát triển văn hóa tộc người thiểu số nói riêng, nền văn hóa dân tộc Việt Nam nói chung.

Through a long development process, the Tay people in eastern Lang Son have built for themselves a rich culture both materially and spiritually. But now, many cultural values ​​are undergoing profound changes in the context of industrialization, modernization and international integration. This study aims to clarify some issues about the change of material culture of the Tay people in eastern Lang Son, and give reasons for the change. With the use of historical method, logical method combined with ethnographic field method, the research results show that the change of material culture of the Tay people in eastern Lang Son have both value and countervalue, outdated customs which have two-way impact on the preservation and development of culture. On that basis, the study also pointed out the subjective and objective causes leading to this change. The results of the study confirm that cultural synchronicity of the Tay people is a direct important content of the preservation and development of ethnic minority culture in particular, Vietnamese national culture in general.
