The parapharyngeal space tumors were the benign or malignant tumors derivated from para pharyngeal space. Objectives: Analyses of the features of cr scanner images of parapharyngeal tumors. Patients: 53 patients with parapharyngeal tumors treated at ENT hospital from Jan 2004 to Sep 2010. Results: The sex ratio was equal, the range of age the most frequent was from 30 to 60 (68.9 percent), the pre-styli en space tumors was the most frequent among the parapharyngeal space tumors (58.5 percent). The dimension of the tumors the most frequent was from 3 to 6 cm. The tumors with unclear border on CT scanner was of 11.32 percent. The carotid puhsed to the front was of 32.08 percent. The tumors contacted to profound lobe of parotid was of 81.1 percent. Conclusions: CT scanner of para pharyngeal space tumors obviously play an important role to evaluate in correlation with the neighbor structures in parapharyngeal space.
