Background: In the field of renal transplantation, the ureter are ussually inserted into the bladder with Lich-Gregoir technique, but this some time causes complications. the authors evaluated urological complications following renal transplantation concerning modified Lich-Gregoir technique. Materials and Methods: Total 57 patiens underwent renal transplantation at 115 people's hospital from Feb. 2004 to Dec. 2013. The ureters were inserted into the bladder with modified Lich-Gregoir procedure. Urological complications determined by Echo, CT-Scan, urine examination. Results: Mean age: 41,09 (ranging 19-60), 39 males and 18 females. The mean vesical volume: 207,37 ml (70-310ml), 5/57 cases with vesical volume S 100ml. 37/57 cases were placed JJ stent. Rate of urinary leaks: 1/57 patient (1,75 percent) but not concerning Lich-Gregoir technique. Rate of success: 57/57 (100 percent). No mortality concerning urological complications observed. Conclusions: The success rate of uretero- vesical anastomosis with modified Lich-Gregoir technique in renal transplantation was 100 percent. The rate urinary leaks was 1,75 percent but not concerning the technique.
