The Ullambana (all souls' day) is organized in the full moon of the Seventh month (according to the Lunar calendar) which is the filial piety ceremony dedicated to parents. This article presented the view of the Buddhist ethics on filial piety and duty of children towards parents. It also indicated that this view of Buddhism is the basic moral principle of humankind. It needs to promote this value of Buddhism, in particular, in the contemporary context.
