This article presented an experiment of measures to improve the generalization ability of preschoolers aged 5-6 years old in Ho Chi Minh city. The measures included (i) teaching children to generalize through mapping comparative tables; (ii) diversifying objects of generalization; (iii) diversifying means of generalization; and (iv) organizing games that develop generation ability. The experimental results showed a significant difference between pre- and post-experiment results. Children's generation ability had clearly changed in the direction of "development".
