On 12 March 2003, the seventh Meeting of the Central Committee issued the Resolution 25/NQ-TW on religious affairs. This Resolution stated that "The mobilization of religious believers must.. encourage people to uphold the spirit of patriotism, the sense of independence and protection of national unity; through the successful implementation of social-economic policies, security, defense, ensuring the material and spiritual interests of people in general, including the religious believers". In recent years, the religious activities have gradually stabilized, but there has been some complex issues. This article indicated achievements and some problems on the work of mobilization of religious believers in order to obtain the economic development and the social, political stability in Yen Bai province.
