Buddhist education system (BES) is the education system with Buddhism characteristic which serves its both kinds of Buddhist: monastic and laity. The elements in BES are similar to other education systems, but with Buddhism's specific characteristics. Researching BES in Southeast Asia, especially specificity of Buddhist schools existing and developing in the area is the key for the door of Buddhist education in the neighbor countries in order to enhance mutual understanding, managers' vision, and keep improving Vietnam Buddhist education system in term of global community integration and co-development.
