Children's well-being at school is an important contributing factor in raising understanding and promoting children's participation in school issues. By using self-declared questionnaire on a sample of 1,565 children (mean age: 11.1; standard deviation: 1.0 years) currently living and studying in 6 provinces/cities in the North of Vietnam We show that Vietnamese children in general have a high level of satisfaction with school, in which, the highest satisfaction is with what they have learned in school. Satisfaction with school is higher among girls than boys, at 10 years old than 12 years old, and higher in urban areas than in rural and mountainous areas. In addition, Vietnamese children are also noted to have generally positive school experiences. These school experiences are more positive for 10-year-olds than 12-year-olds, and higher in urban areas than in rural and mountainous areas. The research results can be a reference for educators, schools, teachers and parents in understanding, orienting and educating children, directing them to the health and happiness of children. morale.
