This study was caried out on 74 subjects with a case-control design (40 patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and 34 healthy controls) to examine blood lipid indexes and insulin resistance. The results showed that there were significantincreases ofblood levels of cholesterol , triglycerid and LDL-C, and decrease ofblood level of HDL-C in patients with T2D in compared to healthy control group (p0,01). There were significant increase of HOMA-IR and decrease of Quicki index in patients with T2D in comparision with healthy subjects (p0.01). This study showed that the blood lipid disorder and insulin resistance were association with T2D.
