The species of dragonfly in Cuc Phuong National Park, Ninh Binh province comprises of 19 species belonging to 7 genera of 5 families: Aeshnidae, Gomphidae. Cordulegastridae, Corduliidae and Libellulidae. Of those only Planaeschna Cucphuongensis is a endemic species that is found in the National Park, Chlorogomphus nakamurai is a regional endemic species (limestone mountain forests, North Vietnam) and 2 rare species are Chlorogomphus auratus and Asiagomphus acco. The family Liuellulidae is the largest with 5 genera (31.25percent), and other families are arranged as follows: Aeshnidae and Gomphidae with 4 genera in each family (25percent). Corduliidae with 2 genera (12.5percent), Cordulegastridae with only one genus (6.25percent). Libellulidae is the most diversified with 7 species (36.84percent), and other families are arranged as follows: Aesshidae and Gomphidae with 4 species in each family (21.05percent), Cordulegastridae and Corduliidae with 2 species in each family (10.53percent). Dragonf1ies habitat is biodiversity of that which is clearly showed as follows: pristine forest with high rate of species, 9 species, about 42.86percent, and lower rate is on the forest erlge and lake with only 5 species, about 23.81 percent and the poorest habitat is the artificial forest with only 2 species, 9.52percent.
