Northern midland and mountainous region is a particularly important location for national security, has an important role in preventing floods in the Northern Plains and Hanoi. This is a potential area of lands, minerals, agriculture, forest products and tourism, hydropower etc, but untapped and unused sustainable. Labor productivity in agriculture and forestry in the region is lower than the national average yield. Therefore, the application of mechanization (CGH) in agriculture and forestry in the northern midland and highland region is a matter of urgency. It has important implications in the development of economic, cultural, social , maintain national security for the region and the whole country. In this paper, the authors analyze the actual investment and use of machinery, mechanical and electrical equipments for agriculture and forestry in the north midland - highland provinces up to 2014 and have proposed a number of solusions to promote rapidly the mechanization progress of agriculture so as to social, economic development, to ensure security and defense, and to improve the lives of the people in the region up to 2020.
