Quang Ninh is a province located in the Northeast. The total area is 610.233,5 ha, in which the area of forestry land is 390.330,6 ha, accounting for 70 percent of total area. Forests are one of the strengths of the province's economy. In recent years, the management, protection and development of forests were interested and directed by agencies of Quang Ninh province. Therefore, there were significant results in developing and protecting of the landscape, the environment; providing income for forest workers and increasing revenues for the province's budget. However, the management, protection and development of forests have revealed many problems. Through assessing the situation, the result has found the solutions to strengthen the management, protection and development of forests for Quang Ninh province in the coming period, in order to develop forestry commensurate with the potential and advantages of the province.
