Enzymes are of heterogeneous catalysts. When using enzyme catalyzed doesn't need high temperature, high pressure, which is highly active, especially the almost absolute selectivity. However, due to poor technology it has not been used much. To promote the strength of activity and selectivity, overcoming the poor technology of enzyme catalysis, the author recently boosting heterogeneous catalysis of this type. Mesoporous materials SBA-15 and hybrid mesoporous materials SBA-15 have large surface area so they should be more in the application to act as a catalyst. Enzymes are immobilized to hybrid mesoporous materials SBA-15 is one of the directions of heterogeneous catalytic enzymes.
