Nam Xuan Lac species and habitat conservation area is one of the areas with rich forests, diversity of the Northeast. However, information on the status of threatened wildlife species is insufficient for guiding conservation efforts. In this survey, a total of 25 threatend species of mammals, 5 species birds and 11 species of reptiles have been recorded in the area and habitat conservation Nam Xuan Lac. Of these, many threatened species are at high risk of extinction such as the Francois' La Trachypithecus francoisi, Snub-nosed monkey Rhinopithecus avunculus, Great hombill Buceros bi. Population size of these species are relatively small, therefore, urgent conservation activities should carried out to save these endangered species from local extinction.
