Nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng sự bùng phát của Covid - 19 đã mang lại những thách thức chưa từng có và ảnh hưởng sâu sắc đến sự phát triển kinh tế của Đà Nẵng, thành phố trọng điểm ở miền Trung Việt Nam, do thực hiện quá trình cô lập và xa rời xã hội trong một thời gian dài. Tốc độ tăng trưởng kinh tế của thành phố âm kể từ khi chia tách tỉnh Quảng Nam - Đà Nẵng. Các chỉ tiêu đo lường phát triển kinh tế như GRDP, thu nhập bình quân đầu người đều giảm. Đồng thời làm gia tăng tỷ lệ thất nghiệp, thiếu việc làm của người lao động. Nhiều hoạt động kinh tế trọng điểm của thành phố bị ảnh hưởng sâu sắc, nhất là hoạt động du lịch, bán lẻ, đầu tư và xuất nhập khẩu.

This study points out that the outbreak of Covid – 19 has brought upon unprecedented challenges and profoundly affected the economic development of Da Nang, the key city in the central region of Vietnam, due to the long-term implementation of isolation and social distancing. The city's economic growth rate has been negative since the separation of Quang Nam - Da Nang province. Indicators measuring economic development like GRDP, income per capita are declined. At the same time, there is an increase in the unemployment rate and underemployment of workers. Many key economic activities of the city are deeply affected, especially tourism, retail, investment and import-export activities.
