Objective: Evaluate the epidemiological, clinical and post operation treatment factors affecting the outcome of thoraco lumbar spine trauma patients. Methods: Prospective study of 56 of thoraco lumbar spine trauma patients in Viet Duc hospital between 11/2011-4/2012. Results: Patients age ranged from 16-65years old. Mean age: 40,S. Male/female 2,5/1. Patients without neurologic deficits (Frankel E)58,9 percent, Frankel A and B were 14,3 percent and 8,9 percent. 6 cases had better result post operation. Conclusions: Urinary sandage were high post operation (55,4 percent), discharge the hospital (33,9 percent). No severe complication after short term treatment.
