Xác định tỉ lệ nhẹ cân sơ sinh và mô tả một số yếu tố liên quan tại bệnh viện Phụ sản trung ương năm 2021. Đối tượng: Trẻ được sinh ra tại bệnh viện Phụ sản Trung ương và bà mẹ của trẻ sơ sinh. Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Mô tả cắt ngang. Kết quả và kết luận: Tỷ lệ trẻ sơ sinh nhẹ cân là 14,1%. Bà mẹ có độ tuổi từ 35 tuổi trở lên có nguy cơ sinh con nhẹ cân gấp 4,8 lần các bà mẹ dưới 35 tuổi, sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê với 95% CI (2,4 - 9,7). Các bà mẹ có trình độ học vấn từ THPT trở xuống có nguy cơ sinh con nhẹ cân gấp 3,5 lần các bà mẹ có trình độ học vấn trên THPT, sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê với 95% CI (1,8 - 7,2), các bà mẹ có tiền sử đẻ non có nguy cơ sinh con nhẹ cân gấp 4,3 lần các bà mẹ không có tiền sử đẻ non, sự khác biệt này có ý nghĩa thống kê với khoảng tin cậy 95% CI (1,4-11,9). Như vậy, các yếu tố liên quan chặt chẽ tới tỷ lệ sơ sinh nhẹ cân là tuổi của mẹ, trình độ học vấn của mẹ và tiền sử sinh non của bà mẹ.

Determine the rate of low birth weight and describe some related factors at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021. Subjects: children born at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the mothers of the infants. Research Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive. Results and conclusions: The rate of low birth weight infants was 14.1%. Mothers aged 35 years and older are 4.8 times more likely to have a low birth weight baby than mothers under 35 years old, the difference is statistically significant with 95% CI (2.4 - 9.7) . Mothers with a high school education or less are 3.5 times more likely to have a low birth weight baby than mothers with a high school education, the difference is statistically significant with 95% CI (1, 8 - 7.2), mothers with a history of preterm birth are 4.3 times more likely to have a low birth weight baby than mothers without a history of preterm birth, this difference is statistically significant with the confidence interval. 95% CI:(1.4-11.9). Thus, the factors closely related to the rate of low birth weight babies are the mother's age, the mother's education level and the mother's history of preterm birth.
