The impact of teaching Economics - Law Education on the career choices of high school students in Da Nang city

The subject of Economic Education - Law at the high school level plays a role in guiding students’ career choices, but research on the impact of teaching this subject on students’ career choices remains limited. The purpose of this article is to present the results of a study on the impact of teaching Economic Education - Law on the career choices of high school students in Da Nang City. Data was collected through an online survey of 877 students from 11 high schools in Da Nang. Statistical methods used in this study include descriptive statistics, scale testing, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to refine the data for multivariate analysis, regression analysis, and model fit testing. Based on the research results, the author identifies that high school students’ career choices after graduation are influenced by five factors: curriculum content, teaching methods, teacher competence, student attitudes, and school support. The findings of the study will serve as a basis for improving textbook compilation, teachers adjusting teaching methods, and schools strategizing career guidance for students.
