In the geography curriculum in schools, local geography is very important. This content has contributed to supplement and enhanced the knowledge of the natural area, population, economic, social... in geography textbooks, especially knowledge of the geographical issues in Vietnam. Computers and educational software are more likely to actively support the design of local geography lesson through the construction and use of maps, charts, tables, stats, pictures, videos... have enriched content of local geography lessons. Therefore, the use of information technology has contributed to improving the quality of learning geography courses (in general) local geography (in particular) in schools today.
