Gambling crimes are stipulated in Articles No.248 and No.249 of Penal Code. Although there is Resolution No. 01/2010/NQ-HDTP dated 22 October 2010 of the Council of Judges of the People's Supreme Court setting forth law enforcement with respect to those crimes, practice points out shortcomings and issues without detailed guides which hinder the efficiency of prevention of and struggle against such crimes. This article presents such shortcomings and obstacles and makes relevant proposals.
