Results of the study on the formation liquid and some main products in the narrow range of temperature in the discontinued pyrolisis of the coconut shell are presented. The rate formation of the liquid and gas products changes differently according to the temperature. The change of the concentration and the amount of the acetic acid on the largest range (the content of acetic acid changes from 2.3 to 17.0) was investigated. The suitable temperature range of the thermal pyrolysis to produce the main products such as acetic acid, methanol, phenol etc. was determined
