The economic growth of the Central Highland for the period of 1990-2010 was rather high compared to that of the whole country. However, the speed of transferring economic structure was slow. The quality of the transferring was still not high. Agriculture played a major role in the economy of the Central Highland. The transferring of economic structure has been in a positive orientation showing in all the economic activities, zones and ownership and creating conditions for speeding up of industrialization and modernization as well as improving the life of the people. However, there have still been unreasonable issues in this transferring course such as no connections and co-ordinations between the localities within the Central Highland. Those are the obstacles for the course of economic development and for gaining the position of the Central Highland in the country.
