Kon Tum is a mountainous province located in northern Tay Nguyen. The provincial terrain is mainly mountainous. There are also basaltic plateaus, valleygraben, denuded hills and pediment. The results on the geo-morphological map was divided into 21 terrain types within five different origin groups. Using the geo-morphological maps combined with other morphological maps (slope map, deeply dissected map and horizontal separation map), the Kon Tum territory was divided into 2 geomorphological regions and 6 geomorphological sub-regions and a proposal was made for use of territory in the geomorphological sub-regions.
