Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này nhằm xác định các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến phát triển du lịch sinh thái bền vững, từ đó đưa ra những khuyến nghị nhằm phát triển du lịch sinh thái Cà Mau bền vững. Phương pháp phân tích nhân tố khám phá kết hợp hồi quy tuyến tính được sử dụng để thực hiện. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy có 6 nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến phát triển du lịch sinh thái bền vững gồm( i) tài nguyên kinh tế, (ii) tài nguyên thiên nhiên, (iii) tài nguyên văn hóa - xã hội, (iv) tài nguyên môi trường, (v) chính sách quản lý du lịch, (vi) tài nguyên con người. Trong đó yếu tố tài nguyên kinh tế và tài nguyên con người ảnh hưởng mạnh nhất. Dựa trên kết quả nghiên cứu, tác giả đề xuất một số khuyến nghị nhằm phát triển du lịch sinh thái bền vững cho tỉnh Cà Mau.
