Xác định tần suất, độ nặng của triệu chứng đau, các loại đau và các yếu tố liên quan đến triệu chứng đau ở phân nhóm bệnh nhân Parkinson khởi phát sớm. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang trên 89 bệnh nhân được chẩn đoán bệnh Parkinson khởi phát sớm theo tiêu chuẩn của MDS 2015, tại bệnh viện Đại học Y Dược TP. HCM từ tháng 11/2019 đến tháng 06/2020. Kết quả: 74,2% bệnh nhân có triệu chứng đau. Điểm KPPS (the King’s Parkinson’s Disease Pain Scale) trung bình là 10,78 ± 14,20 (0-69). Đau cơ xương là loại đau phổ biến nhất (49,4%), theo sau đó là đau rễ thần kinh (31,5%). Điểm MDS-UPDRS phần III cao hơn có ý nghĩa thống kê ở nhóm bệnh nhân có triệu chứng đau. Điểm KPPS tổng cộng không liên quan đến độ nặng của bệnh nhưng độ nặng của đau ban đêm và đau rễ thần kinh cao hơn ở nhóm bệnh nhân giai đoạn trung bình - nặng. Nghiên cứu ghi nhận mối tương quan trung bình giữa điểm NMSS phần mệt mỏi/giấc ngủ với điểm KPPS. Kết luận: Đau là triệu chứng phổ biến ở bệnh nhân Parkinson khởi phát sớm. Các rối loạn về giấc ngủ và sự mệt mỏi liên quan đến độ nặng của đau.

Pain is the common non-motor symtom of Parkinson disease but it is frequently underrecognized and is often inadequately treated. No study assessing pain is performed in young onset Parkinson’s disease subgroup. Objectives: To determine the prevalence of pain, pain intensity, pain types, and associated factors in patients with young onset Parkinson’s disease (YOPD). Methods: This is a cross-sectional study on 89 subjects with the diagnosis of young onset Parkinson’s disease according to MDS’s criteria in 2015, at University Medical Center of Ho Chi Minh city f-rom November 2019 to June 2020. Results: The percentage of patients having at least one type of pain was 74.2%. The mean KPPS (the King’s Parkinson’s Disease Pain Scale) score was 10.78 ± 14.20 (range 0-69). Musculoskeletal pain was the most common type (49.4%), followed by radicular pain (31.5%). MDS-UPDRS part III is significantly higher (p=0.02) in patients with pain. KPPS total score was not related to the disease severity but nocturnal pain and radicular pain increased in moderate-advanced stage. We noted moderate correlations between NMSS sleep/fatigue domain score with the KPPS score. Conclusion: Pain is a frequent problem in YOPD patients. Sleep/fatigue disturbances are related to the pain severity in YOPD.
