This paper introduces the needs of coastal and marine international cooperation of Viet Nam. key concepts and principles in international cooperation for seas and islands of the Viet Nam; presents abaut the status of international cooperations: achievements and challenges relating to the international cooperation. Based on these results. identified key orientations towards 2015 about international cooperationfor seas and islands.
